1、萬圣節前夜***的游戲是“咬蘋果”。游戲時，人們讓蘋果漂浮在裝滿水的盆里，然后讓孩子們在不用手的條件下用嘴去咬蘋果，誰先咬到，誰就是優勝者。

2、在10月31日萬圣節前夕這天，美國的大街上到處可見精彩的現場表演、戲臺上演的幻覺魔術、逼真的游尸和鬼魂，及各種恐怖電影的放映。到了晚上，便趕緊將蜘蛛絲架起來，再幫負責嚇人的演員上妝。鬼屋的內容，則大多與電影主題有關，如：神鬼傳奇、星際傳奇、鬼故事。

3、在這***，信徒們跋涉于僻壤鄉間，挨村挨戶乞討用面粉及葡萄干制成的“靈魂之餅”。據說捐贈糕餅的人家都相信教會僧人的祈禱，期待由此得到上帝的佑護，讓死去的親人早日進入天堂。這種挨家乞討的傳統傳至當今竟演變成了孩子們提著南瓜燈籠挨家討糖吃的游戲。

萬圣節前夕，小孩會提著南瓜燈，穿著各式各樣的稀奇古怪服裝，挨家挨戶地去索要糖果，不停地說：“Trick or treat”(意思是：“給不給，不給就搗蛋?！?，要是不肯給糖果的話，就會用各種方法去懲罰你。
